Top Hi-Definition Camcorders.

Working at Circuit City, I see plenty of different pieces of technology roll through.  As of late, I've been really pleased with the advancement of technology of the camcorders.  They've come a long way from where they used to be.  Way back when, they used to weight 900 lbs. and sit on your shoulder.  Now some of them are so small that you can throw them in your pocket.  Some of the coolest camcorders on the marker right now are the hi-def ones.

Below are a list of Hi-Def camcorders that are a few of my favorites.

Sony HDR-SR11
Shoot video and still photographs like a pro. Sony's HDR-SR11 Handycam camcorder has everything you need for a superior video and photo experience. Its Face Detection technology, made possible by the ClearVid CMOS sensor (with Exmor technology) and BIONZ image processor, helps make sure people look their best in videos and photos. Capture extremely detailed video in Full 1920 x 1080 High Definition resolution, as well as stunning 10.2 megapixel still photos. The camcorder records directly to a built-in 60GB hard drive or your choice of removable Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo media.

Sony HDR-SR12

Complete the picture. The HDR-SR12 Handycam® camcorder delivers an incredible, Full HD 1920 x 1080 high definition video package built around an internal 120GB hard disk drive. A professional-quality Carl Zeiss® Vario-Sonnar® T* lens and ClearVid™ CMOS sensor (with Exmor™ technology) and BIONZ™ image processor let you capture crisp, detailed video and still images. Additionally, Super SteadyShot® optical image stabilization and Face Detection technology help reduce blur, increase color and contrast, and make everyone look their best.

Sony HDR-SR10
Sony SR10
The HDR-SR10 Handycam camcorder delivers everything you need to shoot stunning Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution video and 4 megapixel still images. With Hybrid recording technology, you can record to either an internal 40GB hard disk drive or removable Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo media. A Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens and ClearVid CMOS sensor (with Exmor technology) and BIONZ image processor let you capture every detail in video and still images. Additionally, Face Detection technology helps everyone put their best face forward, while the Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization system helps ensure images remain sharp and true.

As you can see from above, I feel that Sony is doing a really good job in their Hi-Def lineup. Note, I didn't post any professional level camcorders because we don't keep any in stock at the store.  Coming up soon I'll talk a little about those.

My Day off.

Today has been rather dull.  All I've done today is gone to breakfast at Bojangles.  It was pretty decent, though.  Oh, I also was given a set of golf clubs.  They're pretty cool.  They're some of my Dad's.  It was very nice of him to give them to me.

I hope to go to my girlfriend's house here in a little bit after she finishes her homework.  She's swell.

Anyone have a GPS unit?  I'd like to have one.  We sell them at my job and the salesmen say that the Garmin are the best.  I've found a few on Craigslist that seemed to be good units for good prices.  I'm looking for a free one, but that's not going to happen.

If anyone reads this and has a GPS, let me know what kind you have and how pleased you are with it.

Thanks
Josh.

This is slow.

I need to somehow generate hits and comments.  How?  I do not know.  Well, I sorta know, but not really.  I've tried, yet it doesn't work.  Maybe most people don't want to read my random thoughts?  I thought people might want to read my random thoughts.  Maybe blogger is above random thoughts.  Probably.  Maybe I'll generate this blog more towards something really interesting like.. paint drying, different soups, chess matches, or something else dull.  That might fix my issues.

But, yea.

Thanks for reading.  Enjoy the paint drying processes.

Driving Range.

I just got home from the driving range.  You know, I like it when people come in there and they look so professional like they're going to smash every ball they hit, but they end up doing not great.  I guess they just have nice stuff to work with.  I'm not really good at driving the ball, but I'm good enough.  I've actually just started going to the driving range.  My friend Aman and I have been going for the past 2 Saturdays now.  It's pretty fun.  I hope to get good enough soon to play a real game of golf.  Hopefully.

Work was pretty ok today.  It started out slow and dull, but as the day went along, it got better.  Slow days are OK during the week but if I'm working a Saturday, I'd rather it be pretty quick paced.  I sold a lot of junk, though.

I hope everyone else's Saturday went well.

A day at work.

Today was right rough at work.  I sold lots of crap, but I was there forever.  Well, not forever, because I've been there forever before.  Forever would be like the 4:00am - 11:30pm day I had on the day after Thanksgiving.  Today was only a 9 hour day, but it seemed pretty long.  I did have a pretty big ticket today, though.  These two older people bought a PS2 (with warranty), a TomTom go730 (with warranty), 5 games, 7 movies, two laptop bags, and some batteries.  The total was about 1,200, I believe.  That was probably my largest and most productive sale.

I'm tired of selling junk..

I want to be a voice over actor.  Yes.  That sounds fun.  I want to be the voice of characters on animation movies.  Speaking of that, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie Wall-e.  My girlfriend and I were supposed to see it tonight, but she had some homework she needed to do.  I can understand that because I have some I need to do as well.  I work again tomorrow, but only until 5.  It shouldn't be too bad, although it is Saturday tomorrow.

I hope everyone else's day went well.  You may hear from me again tonight because I feel this will be a rather dull night.

Thanks for readin'.
Josh.

Today went..

pretty darn well.  I hung out with my girlfriend most of the day after I got out of school.  School was pretty rough today, though.  We started to do some work on our 17 page proposals and it was really confusing.  It's kind of tough to understand the layout of it to start with, for some reason.  I have never had to write anything this long before in my entire life.  It's going to be a monumental task, but it has to be done.  I want to make an "A" in this ENG-114 class very badly.  I'm looking to make the dean's list.  An "A" in this class would make me extremely ecstatic.  I'm confident that I can do it.

I have to work tomorrow (well, now it's today).  I'm not necessarily looking forward to that at all especially since I didn't work at all last week.  I really want a new job, but I'm not super sure as to what I want to do next.  I'd really love a job in the graphic design field, but I currently don't have my degree.  Soon enough, though.  I'm ready to jump in to it.

Well, that's all for now.  Thanks for reading.

Your newest and most awesome friend on the planet,
Josh.

First Blog Post!

How exciting is this.  This is my very first post to Blogspot.  I'm pretty excited.  I've been around to many different blogging websites such as LiveJournal, Xanga, Myspace, and Facebook and just decided to try here.  I'm hoping to get infinity hits a day of people who only want to read my nonsense.  It's going to be fun.  I may even post insightful things sometimes as well.  So, stay tuned.

Thanks for reading.
