Now the next big hurdle is the 17-page proposal that we have due on the 17th of this month. I think since we have the presentation out of the way, the proposal should be cake. My group members are some awesome people and they're doing a great job on everything.
Tomorrow (well, now today) I have to work 10am - 6pm. I'm loving (note sarcasm) the fact that I have to work on Independence Day. I think this may be the first time I've ever had to work Independence Day. I guess I better get used to it. I'm sure there's tons of people that have to work it. I am one of them. But, luckily we close at 6pm tomorrow, so I won't miss any festivities, if there are any. I know I'm going to shoot off some good ol' fireworks. I've had the same bag of fireworks since 2001 or 2002. It's nuts. They last a long time around here. I guess I just never wanted to shoot them all off because I didn't want to buy anymore. Some of these that I have might be antiques by now. Who knows.
Well, thanks for reading my useless nonsense.
Your pal,
Josh.

Don't you just love how holidays are just being marketed as another excuse for shopping? Thanksgiving isn't a big deal anymore, but the day after? That's the true holiday. Commercialism makes me sick.
I'm with you on that. I worked from 4am - 11pm on the day after Thanksgiving. It was not fun at all. It was constantly busy all day long. Yea, we should really think about these holidays we celebrate and go about the celebration in the right way. With Independence Day, everyone says "Happy 4th of July!" The fourth of July is only a day to me. Today we celebrate our Independence. I just wish people would continue to respect what it actually means. Independence Day is not a reason to get totally destroyed with alcohol. It should be a day to reflect on what people before us have done to get us where we are.
Now if only the same people could come back from the dead and bring gasoline down to 25 cents a gallon.
You're awesome for commenting on my blogs. Thank you.
